Stephan Schmitz is a conceptual award-winning illustrator based in Zurich, Switzerland. Stephan uses digital techniques to produce his illustrations, pairing dynamic compositions with simple colour palettes to convey emotion and atmosphere in his work. He specialises in conceptual illustrations, offering a narrative in his work that translates to a range of audiences and communicates a theme whilst remaining subtle, making him a popular choice for editorial features, advertising campaigns, publishing projects and scientific journals alike.
His work has been internationally recognised by The Society of Illustrators, The Association of Illustrators, American Illustration and 3x3 Annual of Contemporary illustration.
